On BLAKE2b, PyBLØCK marks each thing with a letter of the Elder Futhark, the oldest runic alphabet, instead of an emoji. Every rune was chosen for what it means, and each one keeps its color everywhere: on this site, in the app and on the block cards. This is the dictionary.
Not to be confused with the Runes token protocol on Bitcoin SHA-256: these are letters, not tokens.
The PyBLØCK app draws these runes next to a miner’s address. Each one is earned, has three levels, and never reveals a number.
A gateway writes its name into the coinbase of every block it builds, so anyone can check on-chain which gateway built a block.
